Abdeslem Djaoui is an expert in computational physics ranging from nuclear reactor physics, hydrodynamics and inertial confinement fusion to particle physics algorithms for track identification and reconstruction. He leads the PPD work on the evaluation, adoption and programming of novel computing processors (FPGAs, GPUs, … and associated software tools) for the purpose of improving performance, energy consumption and cost of processing the data from the experiments.
