​Thomas Williams is an online software and trigger expert.

He coordinates software and firmware development for CMS UK phase-2 upgrade common technology platform and is the Core IPbus developer. He is currently designing algorithms for the Phase-2 upgrade of the CMS level-1 trigger, and has previously led the development of the online software framework for the Phase-1 upgrade of the Level 1 trigger.
