Jens Dopke is a Senior Detector Scientist, working on assembly of, electronics for and data acquistion from, large Particle Physics experiments. Currently mostly involved in ATLAS, he also invests time into design and test of future detector systems based on CMOS active sensors, as well as reaching out towards arts and humanities through X-ray based imaging projects with the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

On the ATLAS side, he is responsible for the national and international work packages surrounding final assembly of components for the future ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) upgrade, before these get shipped to CERN for installation.
