A brief report from the 4 day symposium around the impeding update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. Focus will 
be on the instrumentation/computing sessions held, as well as the general discussion around Linear vs. Circular colliders 
in the future – I’d very much welcome opinionated people to join the discussion.
