Wednesday 11 July 2018 Speaker: Bill Murray (University of Warwick) Title: "The Higgs at the LHC: A Review" The motivation for LHC as a Higgs discovery machine is recalled, and the discovery of the Higgs boson discussed. The current knowledge of the mass, couplings and quantum numbers of the Higgs boson are summarized, including the latest results from ICHEP. Some of the issues raised by the Higgs boson are discussed, and a few comments are made on the HL-LHC potential to explore them.
