Title: "Report from "Connecting the Dots" Workshop, Vienna 20-24 February 2016" 

Abstract: The main focus of the workshop was on pattern recognition and machine learning problems that arise e.g. in the reconstruction of tracks or jets in particle physics experiments. It included contributions from Particle Physics and other domains where similar problems arise.
