Title: "SiD - A detector for ILC physics" 

Abstract: In this seminar I'll summarize the ILC physics case and the 
ILC machine parameters before introducing the SiD detector concept. 
SiD is a compact high-field detector for the ILC and I am going to 
give a brief tour through all its proposed subsystems and the current 
R&D status. Then I'll show the current physics performance of SiD and 
illustrate, that it is very well suited to do all the physics at the ILC. 
Finally, I am going to give a overview of current status of the project, 
including the latest developments in Japan.
