Wednesday 13 February 2013 Speaker: Alain Blondel (Geneva University) Title: "Higgs Factories: Future possibilities for precise studies of the H(126) Higgs candidate" Abstract: We present a summary of the state-of-the-art comparison relevant to possible studies of the H(126) Higgs boson candidate. The machines considered are the LHC and its upgrades, Linear and circular e+e- colliders, gamma-gamma colliders and muon colliders. The conclusions of a recent ICFA beam dynamics HF2012 workshop will be shown. The circular e+e- machine TLEP is able to study with great precision the energy range from the Z peak to the ttbar threshold and will be described in more detail. Upgradable to a pp machine of 100 TeV ECM, it can be considered as a possible long term vision for CERN.
