Title: "When Maxwell met Goldstone: the route to Higgs' Boson"

Abstract: "The history and basic ideas behind the misnamed Higgs mechanism 
are reviewed in a pedagogic way, suitable for general physicists and engineers 
i.e. this is not a theory talk! I cover the birth of electroweak theory, 
and the route to the LHC, assessing how the credits should be apportioned. 
The actual content may depend on what the Nobel Committee decided on October 9th".
