Title: "From the lab-bench to the market: Introduction to BID, IP and Spin-outs"

Abstract: "The Business and Innovation Department exists to enable STFC to make 
the most of the impact potential of STFC’s intellectual property. In this talk 
I will discuss the role of BID and in particular the Innovation team in 
maximising the commercial impact of the science programme through IP Management, 
spin-outs, licences and industrial collaboration. I will also explain how you 
can get involved  and outline some of the funding schemes available to help this 
process".
