Wednesday 25 April 2012 Speaker: Alan Barr (Oxford University) Title: "Hunting the invisible at the LHC" Abstract: Searches for supersymmetric particles, including those which might be responsible for the Dark Matter proposed by astronomers, have been amongst the most eagerly anticipated at the Large Hadron Collider. That hunt is now proceeding at full speed, with first results available in a wide variety of different channels. I will review some of the most interesting SUSY searches from the ATLAS collaboration, and touch on the implications for low-energy supersymmetry.
