Title:   "New Initiatives in PPD : Implantable In Vivo Dosimetry".

Abstract:

The need for more accurate measurement of doses of radiation during radiotherapy 
treatments is advocated by many clinicians as an important QA tool. This is particularly 
important as these methods of treatments are becoming more common and widespread.
In this talk I will outline an innovative solution proposed by RAL PPD and the work 
undertaken under the New Initiatives program. Initial studies and current developments 
on a body implantable In Vivo Dosimeter will be presented and discussed.
