Wednesday 3 Nov. 2010 Speaker: Andrew Akeroyd (Southampton) Title: Phenomenology of doubly charged Higgs bosons at hadron colliders Abstract: The Higgs Triplet Model is a simple model of neutrino mass generation, in which a doubly charged Higgs boson is predicted. Ater briefly introducing the theoretical structure of the model I summarise the current searches for doubly charged Higgs bosons at the Tevatron. I then discuss the phenomenology of such particles at the Large Hadron Collider, highlighting potentially important search channels which have not yet been simulated.
