Wednesday 28 January 2009 Speaker: Bill Scott (RAL/PPD) Title: Conference Report from Miami-2008 Abstract: Miami-2008 was a topical conference on elementary particles, astrophysics, and cosmology. I gave a 30 minute talk entitled "A Flavour-Symmetric Perspective on Neutrino Mixing" outlining our recent work on Flavour-Symmetric Jarlskog Invariants, but also reviewing briefly some of our earlier work on mixing etc. I plan to present mainly my own talk again (now taking perhaps 40 minutes) mentioning only briefly some highlights from the meeting as a whole.
